A new year is a great time to reflect and embrace the upcoming days of opportunity! I always love this time of year as January 1st marks a time to start fresh... a time for second chances.... a time to focus on balancing work and life and remembering the importance of self care.

This new year I would like to start by thanking the AES staff for their hard work and commitment each and every day. The staff shines bright with passion, support and LOVE for working with your children. Each day is different. There is NEVER a dull moment and it is easy to get in the routine and chaos of the job. This is where I have made a commitment to myself to appreciate and point out and focus on the GOOD things as much as possible. Appreciating staff in more creative ways is just one of my own professional goals that I have made. The AES staff deserves it!

I would be quite remiss if I didn't also thank YOU! Lakeville is such a welcoming and quaint town and that is a reflection of the people in it. Assawompset is the only elementary school in the town and it should be expected that we SHINE bright! And in order to shine..... we will continue to need your support!
