Message from Superintendent on Upcoming State Assessments
Dear Parents and Students,
As the school year advances, our state-mandated tests are coming. These examinations help us assess student learning and school performance. The findings help us discover strengths and areas for improvement in our educational techniques to promote every student's academic success.
To Our Students:
These exams allow you to demonstrate your year-long effort. We trust your skills and talents as you learn and improve. These assessments are just one indicator of your learning and growth, but they provide your instructors and school with valuable input.
Try these basic methods to perform your best:
Sleep Well: Refreshment helps your brain concentrate and remember knowledge. Maintain a sleep routine before exams.
Healthy Breakfast: Breakfast provides energy and focus on exam days. It will energize you to focus.
Read Questions Carefully: Before responding, read each question carefully. Take your time!
If relevant, show your work: Showing your steps in math and science might help you discover errors and receive half credit.
Respond to All Questions: Try your best guess if you're uncertain. Most standardized examinations don't penalize erroneous responses.
Stay Calm and Positive: Remember your education. If worried, breathe deeply and trust in yourself!
To Our Parents:
Your help is important to your child's success. You may help your kid prepare for evaluations in these ways:
Set a Supportive Environment: Provide a peaceful and supportive home environment in the days before and during testing.
Maintain Adequate Rest and Nutrition: Help your kid develop a sleep schedule and give them a good meal on test days.
Encourage, Don't Pressure: Remind your youngster that these exams are essential but not the only indicator of intelligence or merit. Focus on effort and learning.
Contact the School: If your kid has severe anxiety or needs, contact their teacher or school counselor. We assist you and your kid.
Trust our teachers: Our hardworking instructors are preparing your kids. We guarantee high-quality education for all pupils.
Working together may help our kids feel confident and demonstrate their learning on these examinations. We appreciate your support of your child's education.
Sincerely,
Dr. Toth
