πΎπCitadel Heart of Learning Award- accepting nominations until January 15 ππΎ
Amazing things happen at Fugett every day thanks to our world class teachers. Please join me in recognizing their efforts by nominating a teacher for the Citadel Heart of Learning Award.
The Citadel Heart of Learning Award program honors exceptional teachers throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. I am certain that we have a number of educators worthy of this prestigious award, walking the halls of Fugett. As a matter of fact, our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Jen Gallagher won this award just a few years ago, recognizing her incredible impact on students.
Please consider showing your appreciation to our Fugett teachers by sharing your studentβs success story through a nomination. Simply being nominated and recognized can be such a memorable experience for educators. Thank you for your consideration!
Safety Reminder - dress code in effect even when its cold! π₯Ά
For the safety and security of all students and staff, we would like to remind everyone of our policy regarding outerwear inside the school building.
Students are not permitted to wear coats or have their hoods up during school hours - homeroom bell to dismissal. This practice helps us ensure a safe and respectful learning environment, as it allows staff to easily identify individuals within the building.
We kindly ask for your support in reinforcing this policy with your child. If your child requires additional layers for warmth, we recommend sweaters, sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts, pants, or other appropriate indoor clothing.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our school community safe.

Holidays and a Reminder About Mental Health
π A Note About the Holidays π
Hey everyone,
The holiday season can be exciting and joyful, but it can also bring feelings of stress, sadness, or being overwhelmedβand thatβs okay. Youβre not alone, and itβs important to take care of your mental health during this time.
If youβre feeling like things are too much, or you just need someone to talk to, please remember there are people ready to listen and help:
π National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Dial 988 or visit 988lifeline.org
π Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741
π National Runaway Safeline: Dial 1-800-RUNAWAY (1-800-786-2929) or chat at 1800RUNAWAY.org
π National Domestic Violence Hotline: Dial 1-800-799-SAFE (1-800-799-7233)
Remember, reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether itβs talking to a trusted adult, a friend, or a hotline, help is always available.
Take care of yourselves and each other. π
π‘ Tip: If you need a moment to breathe, try this: Take a deep breath in for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds, and then slowly breathe out for 4 seconds. Repeat until you feel a little calmer.
You matter, and we care about you!!!
