End of the school year procedures
Hello from AMSA and Mr. Hagerty. I have a few important reminders for all families as we head into the last 2 weeks of school.
First, our 6th-grade students will have their annual end-of-year celebration with a field trip to Andover Cinema and Bowlero in Blaine for the successful completion of their first year in Middle School. This student experience will take place on Thursday, June 6th. Your 6th grader was given a flyer with all the specifics with payment due online via SchoolPay by May 27th. Use your ParentVUE app in AHconnect to register and pay.
Next, we will be restricting student movement during instructional time in these last 8 days to provide a safe end to the school year and help our students with successful completion of final projects and exams in the classroom. Except for emergencies and other needs that can’t be taken care during the scheduled breaks between the 45 minute class periods, we are asking teachers to keep students engaged inside the classrooms. Students will continue to need their planner passes.
Next, middle school students wil be able to make one final check on their course requests for next school year. On Monday, May 28, through ParentVue, you will be able to view student course requests and placement for the 24-25 school year. The window to view this will be open from May 28-May 31.
Please call the school counselor listed on the information you will be sent on 5/28. Here is the information
Lastly, this is your last opportunity to order an AMSA yearbook. Use this link to make the purchase. We have 20 left to sell. https://jostens.com
I hope you have a great Memorial Day and a thank you to all of our veterans.
Mr. Hagerty, Principal AMSA
