Holland Happenings
Week ending November 4, 2022
Notables:
- During the week of October 24-28 we celebrated Red Ribbon Week at the Middle Level. Red Ribbon Week is a focus on living life drug free. It is the nation’s largest drug prevention effort to unite communities around the country in the shared goal of prevention drug use and addiction. Many thanks to our school counselors for spearheading this important initiative.
- Early dismissal for students on November 8th and 9th for Parent/Teacher Conferences.
- No School November 10th and 11th for Teacher Convention.
So. Much. Fun!
October 28th was the Halloween Parade and parties for our K-4th Graders. Thank you to Room Parents for planning fun activities (and confections) for our kids to enjoy.
The parade was magical. Like walking down Main Street at Disney World! Seeing so many happy faces (parents more so than the kids), clever costumes, the gorgeous fall foliage on our sprawling campus, and us all being together was a keepsake.
October 31st we welcomed the annual 8th Grade Thriller Dance back to the fold. Students performed for their parents and family members, then put on a show for Holland students. A special thank you to Ms. Nush for putting this together in less than three weeks. It was a great time had by all!
