NO SCHOOL - Spring Break
There is no school this Friday, March 8, for students Early Learning through 12th grade. Classes will resume after spring break on Monday, March 18.

Lantern Festival
Last Friday, Gladstone Community Center celebrated Lantern Festival (元宵节, Yuánxiāojié), marking the end of Lunar New Year. Performances by The Mandarin Dual Language Immersion Program in ISD 622, The Shaolin Institute of Chinese Martial Arts Association via Morris Martial Arts, LLC, and the band Mountain Pop entertained attendees. Delicious food was generously provided by Shangri-La in North St Paul. A big thank you to the volunteer students from Tartan High School's National Honor Society for their invaluable assistance.
Water safety aid class
Are you looking for a fun job? Become a water safety aid by Spring with this FREE class that is offered soon. The class is open to ages 11-18 with job opportunities for those 14 and up! Those under age 14 may sign up to be volunteers with the program with potential to be hired upon turning 14.

ECFE Classes
Did you know that ECFE provides a FREE infant class? The class runs all year long and includes activities, songs, rhymes, movement and parent discussion with a parent educator. You and your child will spend time together exploring toys and participating in classroom activities in a stimulating environment. Come meet other families and see what ECFE has to offer! Community Resources
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has recently confirmed two cases of measles in Dakota County who recently returned to the U.S. after traveling internationally. The decline in measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine coverage, coupled with the increase in measles disease nationally and internationally, puts Minnesota at risk of additional measles cases and a measles outbreak.
