iReady and clubs
We typically have iReady days two days a week, Second Step (which is a social emotional learning curriculum) one day per week, rehersals for band, chorus and orchestra (with UA make up) one day per week and then we were doing club days on Friday. Due to a majority of students in our school not doing their required iReady my path lessons (2 per week; reading and math) I have decided to pause clubs until further notice to gather data that students are doing what is required of them.
iReady My Path lessons are what is helping students make gains in their learning. It is indvidulalized them and the needs they have for reading and math. Please talk to your students about the importance of doing their My Path lessons. Teachers are monitoring lessons, once I have data that shows that 90% of the students are completing their MyPath lessons with fidelity, we will implement clubs again.

12/12 Chorus Concert 6pm in the cafeteria
*snow dates are the next week 17th, 18th and 19th same time, same location
12/13 Progress reports go out
12/19 McLaughlin Dine Out night at Red Robbin
12/23-1/1 Winter Vacation; return on 1/2
