Happy First Day of School Eve!
It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Dolphin Dive-In last Thursday. The excitement of a new beginning is in the air! Tomorrow, Monday, August 28, 2023, is the first day of school. Students should go to their homeroom classrooms when the school doors open at 9:10am. Waters Landing Elementary School staff and safety patrols will be available to assist students in getting to their new classrooms. Families are not permitted to walk students to their classrooms. It is important that we establish this routine from the start. Families are welcome to visit the main office, if they have any questions or concerns. Remember, free breakfast and lunch will be served for all students, however, students are also welcome to pack a lunch of their choice.
This year, the Weekly Message for Students will be recorded in Flip, a video discussion and sharing app formerly known as Flip Grid, instead of being sent through a phone message. You can join the group to listen to the messages each week by using this link: https://flip.com/429fca82. The messages will be in the "Weekly Messages" section. Teachers will be sharing the messages with students during school each week.
