5/2/2021 - We Can Do It!
Hello Families! We thank you all for your flexibility and adapting to all our schedule changes during testing. We will continue with testing this Monday and Tuesday and again the week of May 10th (please read below). This weeks scheduling details are listed as well.

This week is WEEK A
8th grade:
Monday - Normal hybrid/virtual schedule
Tuesday - ALL 8th GRADERS are expected to be in the building for testing. They will be testing ALL day so pick up will be at 2:30

Wednesday - normal virtual day
Thursday - normal virtual day
Friday - normal virtual day
7th grade:
Monday - normal virtual day - 7th grade testing make-ups
Tuesday - independent posted assignments due to 8th grade testing. 7th Graders testing make-ups
Wednesday - normal virtual day
Thursday - normal hybrid/virtual schedule
Friday - normal hybrid/virtual schedule

Testing Reminders:
Test Start Time: 8:30 - scholar's may be dropped off as early as 7:00 AM
Test End Time: 11:30 - for make-ups. 8th grade until 2:30 on May 4th
Devices: Please have scholars bring them to school fully charged
Scholars are expected to be in uniforms: black polo, khaki/black pants, any shoes (no slides). Honor Roll scholars can wear their shirts with their choice pants and shoes.

STEPP Advisory - Tuesday, May 18th @ 6:00 PM (for parents)
8th Grade Graduation: Thursday, May 27th starting @ 9:30 AM
Last Day of School: Thursday, May 27th
Attendance: We are required to monitor your scholar's attendance as we have always done. Attendance is also directly tied to your scholar's success in their classes. Attending ZOOM sessions are a must in order for your scholar to understand how to complete assignments and to receive the support needed to achieve quality grades. Teachers are also available outside of class time to work with scholars. Please take advantage of this!

May 10th - 8th Grade Reading
May 11th - 8th Grade Math
May 13th - 7th Grade Reading
May 14th - 7th Grade Math
Device Returns!: We will begin collecting school devices the week of May 17th.
8th Graders - Must have their devices returned no later than May 18th.
7th Graders - Must have their devices returned no later than May 21st.
More information to come. We will continue with our hybrid schedule until the last week of May. Supplemental work will be given as needed.
5 Week Summer Enrichment Program:
June 21st - July 23rd (no program July 5th)

Technology Needs and Concerns? (please click below)
Below are a few tips to prevent the devices from low performance, damage, or accidental lost.
Ø Ensure the case remains on the IPad or Chromebook.
Ø Ensure food and drink are not around the device.
Ø Ensure scholars are stationary when using the device.
Ø Monitor data usage on the hotspot.
Ø When lessons have concluded for the day, ensure the scholar places the device in the same location for the next day.
Ø Ensure that your scholar's device is plugged in at the end of the day in order to be fully charged for the next school day.
