Support Group that provides guided relaxation techniques for students interested in:

Student Opportunities
Summer Internship – Asian Pacific American Coalition
This internship will allow students to work alongside elected officials and community-based organizations this summer.
Participants will receive a $2,000 stipend upon completion of the internship. Please note that the application deadline is February 10, 2025. For more information, feel free to contact Natasha Wong, an APAC Board Member.

Marketing Internship - Synergy Homecare in Scripps Ranch
Synergy Homecare in Scripps Ranch is a relatively new franchise in the growing home care industry. Synergy Homecare are members of and active in both the Poway Chamber of Commerce and the North San Diego Chamber of Commerce. They are looking for a Poway Unified student intern interested in a career in marketing. The commitment is 6-8 hours/week on weekdays in the evening after school. Students interested have to submit their paperwork by January 31. An interview will follow.

Child Mind Institute - Youth Mental Health Academy
The Child Mind Institute’s Youth Mental Health Academy is a community-based, career development program including paid internships, mentorship, project-based learning, and student support.
Eligibility:
- 15–18 years old as of June 2025
- Enrolled in a public or private high school in CA
- Have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have a strong interest in mental health
