Dear Parents and Carers,
I’m back! Thank you so much for all of your kind comments and warm welcome. It has been lovely to see all of the staff and children, they really are a fabulous bunch!
Another busy week here at Kirk Fenton. On Monday the OPAL team set to work with their first training session. It was a very positive meeting and we look forward to their return on Monday for the ‘Grounds meeting.’ As a result of this, we will be opening our first phase of the project on Monday lunchtime. The children were involved in creating risk assessments for the areas during this afternoon’s worship and they are all incredibly excited. I will make sure I share some pictures on Dojo next week.
Year four haven’t stopped this week. On Tuesday they attended the Great Science Share where they met up with other schools in the MAT to share their science work. On Thursday it was their camp out on the school field - they made survival bracelets, put up huge tents in teams, watched a movie and had hot chocolate. A big thank you to all the staff who gave up their time to support this - and teach the next day!
It’s going to be a hot one - make sure you stay hydrated and we’ll see you next week!
