Assalamu alaikum respected parents,
I pray you and your families are well. We look forward to seeing all our students tomorrow, MARCH 3rd in sha Allah. We are scheduled to hold our Surah Memorization Competition tomorrow in sha Allah during School hours. We have 65+ participating students across all grade levels ma sha Allah. Students will be pulled from their classes recite the assigned surahs to the judges, from their memory. We extend our special thanks to our judges, Sr Eman Enaya, Sr Zeinab Moustafa, Sr. Ayesha Khaleel, Sr. Nour Shayeb, Sr Mona Hamdan and Sr Marwa Ali ElSaid who are volunteering their time to listen to the recitations of our enthusiastic participants ma sha Allah. May Allah SWT put His Barakat and accept everyone's efforts, Amen
Sunday School is pleased to announce it's first ever Parent Support Group (PSG) of the 2023-24 School year led by Sr Samina Anwar and our amazing team of parent volunteers. They have lined up several activities for rest of the year in sha Allah, starting with the "Welcome Ramadan Party" following Sunday, March 10th, 2024 for our students during Sunday School hours. MORNING ASSEMBLY: On Sunday (2/25), our morning assembly was led by myself on the topic of "Tilting out Scales with Good manners". We discussed the saying of Prophet SAW that the most perfect man in his faith among the believers is the one whose behavior is most excellent.” Rasulullah (S) is the best example of the best Akhlaq and Morality. He treated the elderly with respect, the young with kindness. He never used harsh or disheartening words, and his manners were those of the Quran. He encouraged us to have the same high morals and good Akhlaq. Rasulullah (S) told us that the rewards of having good Akhlaq are many! One of them is that we will be of the closest to the Prophet (S) on the Day of Judgment.
