*From Monday 12/2/2024 to Monday 12/16/2024, we are collecting non-perishable food items for our Holiday Helper program. Students are encouraged to bring in food and place it under our Holiday Tree in the box with their teacher’s name. The classroom with the highest level of participation in the food drive will earn an extra recess.

*As the holiday season draws near, the Holiday Helper committee will once again start reviewing applications for Merrimac families in need. This program has been in existence for over thirty years, and has grown tremendously. If you are interested in applying for this program, please complete the paperwork on the link below and return it to Kathleen Sullivan at your child’s school by November 15, 2024 or email sullivan@prsd.org. All applications are kept confidential.

The holiday season is just around the corner, and we’re excited to announce our first-ever Holiday Light Tour! We’re calling on all homeowners in our community to light up their homes and spread some festive cheer.

What is the Holiday Light Tour?

This is a special event where families and friends can drive through our neighborhoods and enjoy the dazzling lights and holiday displays. It’s a wonderful way to bring joy to our community while supporting our school!

How You Can Participate:

1. Decorate Your Home: Get creative and decorate your home with holiday lights, inflatables, and other festive decorations.

2. Sign Up: Register your home to be included in the official tour map. You can sign up by visiting our site, https://forms.gle/CwgyVWtTHUECaGe68

3. Light Up the Night: Ensure your lights are on each evening from Friday 12/13 to Sunday 12/15 from 6pm-8pm
