As we step into February, I want to take a moment to share updates, upcoming events, and initiatives happening at our school this month. February is a month of growth, engagement, and community, and we’re excited to continue our journey together.
Key Dates and Events
- Black History Month: Throughout February, our students will participate in activities and lessons highlighting the achievements, culture, and contributions of Black leaders in history and today.
- No school on February, 14. This is a teacher work day.
- No school on February 17. This is Presidents Day.
- Valentine’s Day Celebrations: Although we love Valentine's Day, WMS does not participate in deliveries of flowers or gifts.
Reminders
- Please continue to encourage daily reading and consistent homework habits at home.
- Should there be any weather-related schedule changes, we will notify you promptly via Remind and Facebook.
