Two Incumbents File for Board of Education
Ferguson-Florissant School District will not be required to hold a Board of Education election in April because two candidates filed for two open seats on the board. Candidate filing closed on Dec. 26, 2023, at 5 p.m. Under the provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is the same as the number of positions to be filled by the election (two), there will be no election. During the April organizational meeting of the Board of Education, both candidates will be sworn in to office in April 2024. Graves and Tyson will each serve three-year terms.
