March 24, 2025
As we approach spring break, we want to remind everyone of the importance of coming to school on time each day. We have made substantial improvement with our student attendance this year, but still are seeing an alarming amount of tardies each day. Being on time helps students start their day with a routine, participate in morning lessons, and feel connected to their classmates. Every minute in the classroom matters, and we appreciate your help in making sure students arrive ready to learn. School begins at 7:55am each day, and we close the car line once the back-up on Avon St. has cleared after that time. If you are already in line, you will not be marked late.
We also want to take a moment to thank you for your support during budget season. Your involvement, whether through attending meetings, providing feedback, or simply staying informed, makes a big difference. We are grateful for a community that values education and works together to ensure our students have the resources they need to succeed. At this time we are not anticipating any major reductions, however, we remain in touch with our PTO should any advocacy be needed.
As we head into spring break next week, we hope you all enjoy a well-earned rest. Whether you are traveling or staying close to home, we wish you a safe, relaxing, and happy break. We look forward to welcoming students back, refreshed and ready to finish the school year strong!
Sincerely,
Christine Peterson, Seth Kennard, and Stephanie Provines
