SR3 Parent Connection

April 2024
A Note from the Superintendent
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support. I would also like to extend a special thank you to those who participated in the local municipal election on April 2nd. There is no better way to support our community than through the polls.
I am incredibly proud of our students and their accomplishments thus far. Their dedication and hard work are truly inspiring. As we approach the end of the academic year, I urge our students to stay focused and finish strong. Let's continue to provide the support and encouragement they need to realize their full potential.
Spring testing is just around the corner for our younger students, who will take the state MAP test while our high school students are preparing for end-of-course exams and finals. Consistent attendance is crucial, especially during state testing. Attending school consistently not only ensures that your child receives the best education possible but also allows them to fully engage in the learning process and demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Please prioritize your student's attendance through the end of the school year.
If you have not visited our High School campus recently, you should! The installation of precast panels for our new classrooms, auxiliary gym, and performing arts center is well underway. This project will provide our students with state-of-the-art facilities that foster creativity, collaboration, and growth.
It's an exciting time to be a Savage! And we wouldn’t be where we are without your ongoing partnership and support. Together, we can continue to provide our students with the best possible education and create a thriving community of learners and successful adults.

Looking for more ways to share the love with SR3 Staffers?
A few years ago, the district began hosting an end-of-the-year celebration to honor the dedication of our staff members, recognize our retirees, and present awards of Excellence. We invite everyone who loves the SR3 staff as much as we do to participate in this fantastic event.
One of our favorite parts of the celebration is the give away prizes! Donating a give away item is an easy way for you to be involved. We will gladly accept any (school appropriate) items you would like to donate but here are some ideas:
Gift certificate to a local business
Savannah R3 Swag (hats, tumblers, car decals, notebooks, signs, etc.)
Fresh flower arrangements or potted plants
Themed gift baskets (please, no alcohol)
Flair pens, Expo Markers, Sharpies (you would be surprised how excited our staffers get over fancy office supplies!)
