Assalamu alaikum respected parents,
I pray you are all well. It was so nice to welcome our students back last week after a long break. Many of the students came dressed in their Eid clothes and it was such a delight to see everyone's smiling faces ma sha Allah. Students also enjoyed a special eid treat (cup cakes) after lunch. Last Sunday, teachers were able to nominate students for the Quiz competition using merit based criteria guidelines. We look forward to holding our Annual Quiz Competition tomorrow, Sunday April 28th in sha Allah. It is an all day event for students in 1st through 8th grade. Parents are also welcome to attend in the IFN Banquet Hall, starting at 10:15 AM in sha Allah. Please note that No Regular Classes will be held tomorrow and students DO NOT have to bring their books/backpacks. However, students are still expected to arrive at the regular time as the assembly will start at 9:45 as usual and after the assembly, teachers will take their students in the Banquet Hall for the Quiz Competition. We anticipate that the Quiz Competition will end around 12:15ish and parents are welcome to take their students early if they wish to. However, our staff will be with students till the regular dismissal time after Duhr prayer in sha Allah.
For Students in PK-KG, teachers have planned alternate activities (Eid themed arts crafts and games) in sha Allah at Sunday School with the help of parent volunteers.
MORNING ASSEMBLY: On Sunday (4/21), our morning assembly was led by our vice principal, Sr Muizza Suglatwala who talked to students about the value of being grateful through story telling and it was so nice to see the students engaged and answering questions ma sha Allah.
