Early Childhood Professions
Early Childhood Profession students will be busy this quarter planning activities that they will present for the annual "Day In The Library" event at the Mesa County Library in April. Students will read, create an art project and dress in honor of the theme this year "Bugs".
This quarter students will also be busy
- Finishing their brochure on different early childhood theorist. All in the effort to learn more about practical application in today's world.
- Creating a resume to present at a group interview for an early childhood position in our community.
- Observing different types of early childhood programs in our valley.
- Create a science project based on an activity learned at the Math and Science Center.
- Learn about the ethical points involved in the Early Childhood Profession as outlined through the NAEYC.
- Attending a "business luncheon" to experience how deals are made
As always, please let us know if you have an activity for learning within the realm of early childhood. We would love you to come and share with our class.
