6th Grade Team Building Day 😎🐾
Last Friday 6th grade enjoyed a wonderful team building day at Fugett!
In the morning students participated in curriculum based activities where A and B team students were placed in groups to go through a circuit of six different activities. The weather was absolutely perfect for the afternoon when students went outside for team building activities. We also enjoyed soft pretzels thanks to the generosity of our PTO.
Immense thanks and gratitude to the incredible 6th grade lead teachers, Ms. Peters and Mr. Nefos. A day like Friday does not happen without their planning, organizing, and execution.

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. FMS will provide information and resources on how we can prevent suicide from occurring within our community throughout the next few weeks. On Tuesday, September 10th, it is World Suicide Prevention Day. This year’s theme is “Changing the Narrative”. It is important to discuss and acknowledge prevention and awareness and ways to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. The awareness colors are purple and teal. We are asking students and staff to wear these colors (or anything that promotes kindness and mental health awareness) in support of World Suicide Prevention Day on Tuesday, September 10th. Please reach out to Mrs. Hess or Ms. Spano with any questions.

Lateness will be handled in accordance with the WCASD Attendance Policies, and PA State Laws. Eight (8) unexcused lateness will result in an after-school detention for the student.
