Dear Intermediate Parents,

We're already well into February, and as usual, things are getting very busy here at school! We want to keep you informed of some important upcoming events.

Student-Led Conferences are just around the corner on February 13 and 18. Sign ups for a conference time on these dates were sent out last week. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions or need assistance scheduling your conference.

Our students will also be participating in the ATLAS Interim 2 assessments at the end of the month. These assessments will measure student progress in Math, Science, and English Language Arts.

Sports Physicals are provided by the Community Clinic in our Panther Health and Wellness Clinic on February 14 and March 4. Cost is $10. Text #CCSiloam to 1-855-438-2280 or Call 524-8175 to make an appointment. All necessary paperwork must be completed in order to reserve a spot.

This month we will be hosting Student Led Conferences on February 13 and 18 after school. Your child will be able to share what they are learning and how they are doing this semester. Teachers are available to answer any questions you have as well. Please be sure to sign up for your preferred spot during conferences.

We're committed to keeping our students safe, and a key part of that is ensuring all students wear their school ID badges while on campus. To help prevent lost badges, students will keep them at school. Replacement badges are $2 (cash or check).

As winter is here, we want to remind you how we communicate about school schedule changes due to inclement weather. In the event of delays or cancellations, you will receive a School Status message as soon as a decision is made for the Siloam Springs School District. We also post updates on our Facebook page.

February 3-7 is National School Counseling Week! We are so thankful for our school counselors, Morgan Killian and Judith Havens. They provide essential support for students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. From helping students navigate challenging situations to guiding them in academic planning and career exploration, school counselors are dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all. They are advocates, listeners, and trusted resources, empowering students to reach their full potential. Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Havens and Mrs. Killian!

Our students will be taking the ATLAS Interim test this February 25 - 28 in the subject areas of Math, English Language Arts and Science. You can access the Family Portal HERE for practice tests and viewing your child's previous test scores.
