Attendance/Early Outs
Please remember that daily attendance is a critical piece of academic success. All students should arrive on campus between 7:35 and 7:55. Students have no more than 3 days to bring a note back in the event of an absence for it to be counted as excused. Parents are limited to writing 3 notes per semester. Any consecutive absences of more than 3 days requires a doctor's note. Excessive absences can result in Saturday School assignment and/or court fines for truancy. Every 3 tardy or leaving early will result in an unexcused absence.
Students may not be picked up from school between 2:30 and dismissal on Monday - Thursday or after 1:30 on Friday. This begins a very active and moving campus, so we do not do pick-ups. Please arrive prior to then or wait until after school.

Move This World
The first few lessons have introduced the Emotional Building Blocks, which connect a feeling word with each ABC. We encourage you to utilize this language at home to help your student identify what they're feeling.
You can access the Platform Guide here. I will highlight various topics from Move This World here on our Parent Smores.
