A note from Mrs. Estenson...
Toro Community,
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had a busy, but great week last week. WEB leaders planned and opened up lunchtime activities such as Family Feud, a basketball tournament, and Mr. Fratangeli has been leading a Flag Football group at both 6th grade and 7th/8th grade lunches. We are also excited as we have opened up our library 3 days a week for students to check out library books. If your student is ever in need of a book, let us know and we are happy to check a book out to them!
Thursday, we also engaged students in an assembly with our community partners such as our Student Resource Officers and Starbucks Leaders. Students were engaged and it was great for them to see and hear from our partners!
Our Paint Day/Beautification day is fast approaching on October 19th! Please see below for the flier. If you are interested in participating on this day, please sign up HERE. Along with painting the mural, we will have several other projects to get involved in as well such as the garden, rock painting, power washing/cleaning, and sprucing up our courtyard area. Many of you have mentioned that you may have connections to companies that may be interested in donating and/or letting us borrow some supplies. If this is the case and you are able to donate and/or bring supplies to borrow, HERE is a list of sign ups for supplies needed for each project. If you are able, please sign up next to the supply/material you are able to bring. We are looking forward to seeing the community come together for our Toros and are looking forward to seeing you all!
We hope you have a great week!
