Upcoming
School Wellness Surveys for Grades 3 - 8
As we shared with you prior to the April vacation, our students in grades 3-8 will be taking part in an online School Wellness Survey in order for our diocesan committee to use the survey results to develop and create policies and programs that will help improve the health of our students and staff. Teachers will be giving these online surveys in their classrooms this week and will let you know which day they have been scheduled. The original communication to parents included an Opt Out Form that a parent could complete if they decided they do not want their child(ren) to take part in this survey. We’ve included another copy of this form in case you need to complete this—all Opt Out Forms must be received by your child’s teacher by Monday morning.
MAP Testing
Students in K through Grade 8 will be taking the Spring session of MAP testing starting later next week through May 24th. We will be working out a schedule of these sessions and teachers will let families know their grade level testing schedule by next Wednesday. These assessments are not part of any grade for your child, but they are beneficial in helping teachers identify skills and areas of strength for each student as well as areas that can be reinforced and improved.
Friday, May 17th
Family BINGO Night at 6:00 pm—FREE event to bring our school community together. Hope to see you there!
