• The Fords are ready for the Unofficial start of summer! One parent said to me that this time of year is busier than the winter Holidays-so true! Try to find some rest this weekend!

• Another great week at HHS. Playoffs, another great concert, Senior Breakfast, high-level academia, friendships and so much more!

• Please remember all those that died fighting for our country's freedom this weekend.

Senior Dues

Senior Dues are $50 this year. Cash, Check, or Money Order to Main Office. Free and reduced lunch students are free. The dues do not include a yearbook.

Graduation

• Graduation is June 6th at 6:00 at St. Joseph's University.
• Each student receives 6 tickets. You can distribute your six tickets in any way that you wish. If you need additional tickets you have to make those arrangements on your own. 6 tickets per family will put St. Joseph's at their maximum limit of attendees. As always, we livestream graduation.

Free Score Send

Ensure your seniors activate their free score send by the June 20 deadline. It's a good way to make sure they get the credit, advanced placement, or both that they've worked so hard for.

Attention Students Interested in Jazz at HHS:

All students interested in participating in the HHS Jazz Ensemble or Jazz Lab Band during the 24-25 school year must complete a video audition this spring (due June 9th). See Mr. Fein for a printed version of the material.

With the end of the school year on the horizon, we would like to bring to your attention the technology obligations that your student needs to fulfill in order to graduate.

To graduate, the following obligations must be met:

1. Pay the 2023-2024 Student Technology Fee - 12th Grade - $30
2. Return the school-issued Chromebook and Charger in working condition at the Drop Off event (June 4th, 2024)

These two requirements must be completed before your student is allowed to pick up their cap and gown. NOTE: These requirements are separate from Senior Dues.

The Chromebook Drop off and Cap and Gown pickup event is on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 (9:15AM - 12:00PM) in the HHS Gym Lobby.

This senior tech fee can be paid online here or by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to SDHT or The School District of Haverford Township.

ATHLETICS UPDATE

• Fall Sports Night is June 11th at 6:00 PM in the HHS Auditorium.
• The Boys' and Girls' track teams are sending Jaelyn Galloway, Alyssa Bloxton, Olivia Cieslak, Ríona O’Neill, Abby DeFruscio, Colette Wagner, and Ava Cavanaugh to Shippensburg to compete in the PA State Championship. The competitions are today and tomorrow. Go running, jumping, and throwing Fords!
• Boys' Baseball beat Pennridge in 11 innings in the Round of 32 of the District 1 Playoffs. They lost in the Round of 16 to Neshaminy. The win was their first playoff win since 2016. A start of many great seasons to come!
• Girls' Softball lost to Boyertown in the Round of 16 in a tough fought game. They were the Central League Champs this year and 3 of the last 4 years!
