Vive Le Vent!
Last week Madame Fifi brought her classes around to sing Christmas carols to classrooms in French! They sang the French version of Jingle Bells, while dressed in festive outfits. “Vive Le Vent” is a French Christmas carol that translates to “Long live the wind”. It is sung to the same tune as “Jingle Bells” but has different lyrics. The song is about a boy who wishes for the wind to carry his Christmas wishes to Santa Claus.

Kyla Cobbler competed in the Skills USA region 1 Championship in the T-short Design event. She placed third, which means she will advance to the state competition in February at the World Congress Center in Atlanta.
