Please note that these shirts must be paid in cash only. You can pre-order through our online shirt order form, then turn in the cash to Wendy Gordon Weeks, Magnet Coordinator. Again, if you are interested in other designs or other items such as shorts, long-sleeve shirts, hoodies, hats, bottles, bags, and more, the Parent Teacher Group (PTG) has set up a print-on-demand online store! This store will be available throughout the year, and PTG will receive a portion of whatever you spend to support our school.

Middle School Soccer Coaches Still Needed
We are still looking for middle school soccer coaches for our teams. If you, or someone you know, are interested, please let Dr. Celaya know as soon as possible. We will need confirmation on coaches by November 30 or we will not be able to field middle school soccer teams this year.
The jobs are currently posted for hire at the following links:
Middle School Boys Soccer Coach Job Posting
Middle School Girls Soccer Coach Job Posting
There is a financial stipend for these positions. Please email Dr. Celaya if you, or someone you know, is interested!
Elementary Cross Country
Elementary Cross Country: If you have an elementary student that submitted a physical for cross country, please email Dr. Celaya as soon as possible so he can give you the details on the City-Wide Meet on November 23. A number of students have been practicing traveling a mile during recesses, and Dr. Celaya wants to confirm official participants in the City-Wide Meet so he can report rosters to the event coordinators.
Help Needed from a Middle School Lady Dragon
Our middle school flag football team needs at least one female to participate in our upcoming tournament on Saturday, November 16 (from approximately 7:45 am to 2:00 pm). Please contact Dr. Celaya as soon as possible if your daughter(s) are interested.
After-School ACE Program for Spring Semester
Please notify Dr. Celaya if you would like your child(ren) to be in the after-school ACE program as soon as possible, and be prepared to submit the $400 fee for the spring semester.
Reminder: Thanksgiving Food Boxes Available
The Zion City Church will not be giving out tickets this year for their Thanksgiving Boxes. Families will have to visit the Zion City Church website starting Monday, October 28th to sign up for a box. If you have any questions regarding this change, please email Adriana Manrique. Thank you!
Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree
The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Online Toy Registration will begin November 4th . Families that are interested in signing up for the program can login on the Angel Tree website -- the registration will remain open until all 1,500 spots are filled. You will need to enter your zip code; however no invitation code is needed. If you have any questions, you can email Adriana Manrique. Thank you!
Trunk or Treat Thank You!
Thank you to all the families that participated in and attended the Trunk-or-Treat event. It was our most-attended one ever! (Thank you as well to everyone who helped make it possible with their donations of candy!)
Thank You Genuine BMX and Griffith Automotive!
Reminder: Photo & Yearbook Permissions
Families who opted out of some permissions at registration should have received a yellow permission slip asking about permission for listing your student's name for Dragon of the Month, including pictures with them on our social media and website, and including their name and picture in the yearbook. If you have any questions about this form, please email Wendy Weeks, Magnet Coordinator.
We appreciate you returning these forms as soon as possible!
Reminder: Yearbooks on Sale!
Yearbooks for this school year are currently on sale for $10 each. The price will go up as the deadline gets closer, so order now to get yours at this discounted early bird price! You can purchase a yearbook on the TUSD Payment Portal, with your student’s ID number as the user name (this can be found on ParentVue), and the student’s last name as the password.
