A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Greetings! 🍂🌲
I hope this finds you all well. This week, we welcomed a bit of cold weather. Jackets, hats, and lots of layers are helpful to send students to school in. We do have extra gear to keep kids warm, if needed. After four days off from school, we have been busy settling back into our learning routines. This year, our K-3 teachers are using a new writing program called Bridge to Writing. This is a curriculum that embeds grammar lessons, prewriting tools, and the process of writing. From realistic stories, to fantasy, and summary writing, our students in K-3 are learning fundamental pieces of writing through the use of this new curriculum.
ANCHOR Tickets! ⚓
WOW! Our students have been earning so many tickets for being responsible, respectful, kind and safe. We have almost reached our goal for our next whole school celebration. Just a few more blue tickets will have us reaching close to the top of our jar. We are excited to celebrate the hard work they do each day at school.
Great Start Drop Off: Just a reminder that when students are being dropped off by parents for Great Start, other cars should not be passing on the left hand side of the drop off loop. Thank you for keeping all of our students safe.
Please reach out at any time with any questions or concerns you may have. We are here to help!
Best regards,
Nina Willette
