Dear Friends of St. Patrick School:

We are thrilled to invite you to participate in the upcoming St. Patrick School 2025 ‘Wild About St. Pat’s’ Gala. This highly anticipated annual event is one of our largest fundraisers, supporting our mission to provide a high-quality Catholic by educating the whole child in Mind, Body, and Spirit through the Augustinian tradition.

The Gala will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025 and will feature a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, live auction, and dancing. We hope you can join us for this exciting evening!

Since 1944, St. Patrick School has been committed to providing students with a top-notch Catholic education while educating every aspect of the child: Mind, Body, and Spirit. However, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of education, and private donations like yours are vital to sustaining and enhancing our programs and facilities.

We have enclosed an auction item donation form and kindly request that you return it by March 15, 2025. Your generosity will help support our students and upgrade our educational facilities. In recognition of your contribution, your name will be included in our silent auction.

We're selling Candy Grams on Tuesday, Feb 11th and Wednesday, Feb 12th! This year, your friends will receive a special Candy Gram they can color, with fun prompts to spark their imagination. Pick a bear design they’ll love and a sweet treat! All Candy Grams will be delivered on Valentine’s Day! Candy Grams will be sold for $1 each. Thank you!

St. Pat's Players (Drama Club) permission slip has gone home with your child. The first practices will be Wednesday, February 19th and Friday, February 21st from 3:15 - 4:45 pm in the Parish Hall. The performance will be held on Saturday, April 12th. Please make sure your child will be available for the practices and two performances on Saturday, April 12th at noon and 3pm.

If you are planning on coming back next year, please complete the “Intent to Return” form attached below. This is important so we can start planning for the upcoming school year. We use this information for a variety of reasons including budget, staffing, and curriculum planning so your timely response is critically important. Thank you to those who have already submitted the form. Please feel free to pick up a copy (in the school office) or print the form, complete and return it with your child or email it to our Bookkeeper - Lisa Laughter @ lisa.stpats@gmail.com. Thank you.

Pilot Summer Academy is a unique, faith-based summer camp designed to provide young girls with a safe, fun, and educational environment. I believe every girl deserves to feel loved, included, and empowered, and I’ve seen firsthand the growth and leadership that come from Catholic education.

We are excited to collaborate with different parochial schools in San Diego County to make this summer camp a success. We would greatly appreciate your help and support in promoting our program to families in your community.

We are hoping you’ll consider featuring Pilot Summer Academy in your weekly bulletin. I’ve included a brief blurb that provides all the key details about our program and how families can register.

Pilot Summer Academy:

Pilot Summer Academy is a STEAM-focused, multi-disciplinary summer camp for girls in grades rising 2nd–7th (those who have completed 1st through 6th grade). Our camp offers a well-rounded experience from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily, featuring activities in Science, Robotics, Pilot Television, Arts, Outdoor Adventure, and Dance, all hosted in OLP’s state-of-the-art facilities.

Each day, campers will engage in a faith-based devotional specifically designed for young women, addressing the challenges they face today. Additional camp activities include a camp shirt, games, crafts, special guest speakers, field trips, Friday Fun Day, and more!

Camp Dates:

• Monday, June 16 – Friday, July 18, 2025 (Note: June 19 and July 4 are federal holidays)

• Full 5-week session: $1,200

• One-week experience: $300

• Prices will rise on March 1st.
