Fox Family Updates for the Week...
Good Evening Fox Families, this is your assistant principal Bethany Ruhlman with this week’s announcements and reminders. I hope everyone had a delightful weekend!
The Foxy Focus for December is Cooperation.
The students hear the following statement on the announcements each morning and are encouraged to incorporate it into their daily habits.
Cooperation includes taking turns, working together, and sharing. When we cooperate, we work as a team to make things better for everyone. Friends who are cooperative are helpful and work to get along with everyone.
Thank you for supporting the talent show and toy drive. We enjoyed watching our many talented Foxes and collecting toys for the UVA Children’s Hospital.
We would also like to give a shoutout to the 12 students from M-NES whose artwork is featured in the Louisa Arts Center. The event Friday night at the Louisa Arts Center was enjoyed by all and their work will be on display through January.
On Monday, December 4th and Wednesday, December 6th, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking the Winter SOL Growth Assessments in both reading and math. Please make sure your student comes to school on time these days. These assessments allow us to see the growth students have made so far this year and help us prepare for the spring semester.
With Fox Pride,
Bethany Ruhlman
Assistant Principal
