Welcome Back Vikings
Some thoughts for the starting school year
Welcome Back Vikings
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year at Redwood!
This summer has been an extraordinary time for our school as we’ve been undergoing significant Measure I construction to enhance our facilities. This summer crews have been hard at work on construction for the soon to be Redwood Plaza. The plaza will serve as a wonderful space for students, staff and stakeholders to gather and engage in various activities. Additionally, construction is now underway for our new science labs and instrumental music rooms. Completion dates for the projects are scheduled between Winter 2024 (Redwood Plaza) and Spring/Summer 2025 (Music and Science building).
As we welcome our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders back to school, we are committed to ensuring that every student feels supported, valued, and challenged. Our dedicated teachers and staff are preparing engaging and enriching learning experiences that will ignite curiosity and foster academic growth. Parents and guardians, your involvement and support are crucial to our collective success. We look forward to partnering with you to create a positive and nurturing environment for our students.
Once again, welcome back! Let's make this school year one of growth, discovery, and achievement.
As a reminder if you have not yet done so please spend some time reviewing the Redwood Summer Newsletter.

Redwood Parking Lot- Student Drop Off and Pick Up 2024/25 School Year
Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to pick up and drop off students outside of the RMS parking lot.
Our first priority to student safety as our Vikings enter and depart from campus. With this in mind we are trying to reduce the number of vehicles flowing through our parking lot. For those who need to pick and drop off in the lot there will be a one way flow of traffic that all vehicles must follow.
