Palmyra GATE Magnet is excited to host Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 25th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Bring your whole family for a night of fun-filled activities!

Event Highlights:

• Trunk or Treat: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
• Costume Parade: 7:00 PM (Make sure to dress up!)
• Glow Stick Dance Party with DJ Frankenstein: 7:10 PM - 7:30 PM

We’ll also have a Taco Truck on-site (cash preferred), serving delicious food and aguas frescas.

If you’d like to participate in decorating your car, please register by October 23rd. Cars should arrive between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM and stay until the end of the event.

We Need Your Help! 🍬🎃
As we gear up for our Trunk or Treat event at Palmyra GATE Magnet, we’re asking for candy donations to help make the evening extra sweet for our students and families!

If you’d like to contribute, please send bags of individually wrapped candy to the school office by Wednesday, October 23rd. Every donation helps us ensure that there’s plenty of candy for all the little ghosts and goblins!

The 2025 GATE screening process for students in grades 2-6 is underway.

• All students in 3rd grade will be screened for GATE. If you do not wish for your child to be screened, complete and return to our school office the Opt Out form linked below. You may also get a copy of the form from our school office or from your child's teacher.
• Students in grades 2, 4, 5, and 6 may be referred by parents or teachers for the GATE testing process by completing the GATE referral form linked below . The deadline to refer your child is Wednesday, January 21, 2025

There will be two virtual parent information sessions hosted by the OUSD GATE office. These will be held using Microsoft Teams. See the bottom of the 2025 GATE Screening Information flyer linked below below for links to the meetings.
