Our goal for attendance this year is to reach 94%. With the snow days, I am posting each grade level's attendance percentage for the year to date:

Pre-k: 87%

Kindergarten: 89%

First grade: 90%

Second grade: 92%

Third grade: 91%

Fourth grade: 93%

Fifth grade: 90.57%

With the new year, comes new year resolutions. We are asking our families to help us improve our attendance. Park Hall has the lowest attendance rate in the county at 90%. This impacts our performance ratings, and more importantly, our students continuous access to instruction. If students are not here, they cannot learn. Help us reach our goal of 94% by sending students to school each day and on time. Thank you Park Hall families!

• End of the second marking period
• PTA Family Game Night 6:00-8:00 pm

Snacks are now being offered for purchase for grades 3-5 from the cafeteria every day after the students have had their lunch. Families can add money through myschoolbucks or by putting money in a envelope with the student's name, teacher, and for cafeteria snacks.

Park Hall Elementary has also been identified as a community school. A community school is a public school that establishes strategic partnerships between the school and other community resources. These partnerships promote student achievement, positive learning, and seek to promote the well-being of students, families, and the community by providing services. Community schools address the whole child, with a comprehensive focus on academics, social and emotional well-being, and developmental needs.

Park Hall Elementary is a Title I School. The purpose of Title I is to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps. Title I provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging academic standards.

Park Hall Elementary School provides a rich educational experience that focuses on preparing well rounded students that are ready to succeed in their future college and career endeavors.
