Welcome to our Community Backpack e-newsletter!

Welcome back! We're so excited to see everyone in the next few weeks. There are many upcoming community events, donation drives, and celebrations to look forward to. Keep an eye on your inbox for this bi-weekly newsletter, which will provide up-to-date information on opportunities in our school district and communities. Parents can expect to receive back-to-school communication from principals within the next week.

Volunteers are vital to the success of our schools.

Teachers, staff, and administrators cannot do the work alone. There are numerous volunteer opportunities to help both inside and outside of the classroom. If you're short on time but still want to help, take a look at the requested items to donate to the C-I Schools Care Closet. By donating, you can help meet students' basic needs, allowing them to focus on learning.

With more than 55 new courses this fall, we have something for everyone!

From early childhood through adulthood, our variety of programs, including youth activities, adult classes, Adventure Center, driver education, and volunteer opportunities, offers something for everyone! We have lots of new offerings this fall as well as familiar favorites. Classes and programs fill up quickly. Many activities will have waitlists. Register now so you don't miss out!

Better Together

The community is invited to attend the 2024 Better Together event to learn about community resources and Anoka-Ramsey Community College. This is a collaborative event with Cambridge-Isanti Schools, Allina - Cambridge Medical Center, Isanti County Public Health, and Anoka-Ramsey Community College to support each other's well-being. There will be live music, a variety of activities including a bounce house, yoga sessions, and food trucks. Everyone is welcome!

School Supply Drive

There is still time to participate in our SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE! Minnco offices are collecting school supplies for students in our community, and we need your support. You can donate new supplies or make a cash contribution if that's more convenient for you. Especially needed are individually wrapped snacks, including bottled water, juice boxes, fruit snacks, crackers, popcorn, granola bars, and breakfast bars.
