Enjoy the little moments!
3 + 3 + 3= 9. The Power of 9
You can take 3 minutes in the morning, 3 minutes in the afternoon and 3 minutes at bedtime to make all the difference!
- Say good morning and encourage your child that this will be a great day!
- Ask how their day was after school- "give me something that was challenging or hard?" "what did you like the most about your day?" "Did you get to do something kind?" "Did someone do something kind for you?"
- Make bedtime a positive ritual with a bedtime story or even just a short nursery rhyme on those nights where it's hard to get a story in. Here is a great "I Love You Ritual" from Dr. Becky Bailey below:

Curriculum Highlights
We are "Building Our Classroom Community" as our first unit for preschool. We focus on school routines, our feelings and how to be a good friend. We also will talk about important Kindergarten Readiness Standards such as rhyming, positional words (up, down, under, over), letter sounds and identification. We will do this through fun hands on learning, activities and games!
At the end of September we will have a new and very fun unit, "Balls." We will talk about soccer, football, baseball, volleyball and of course, this is Indiana, we will talk about Basketball! We will ask what the children already know about balls and ask them what they want to know during this unit. This guided learning allows us to tailor their education to their interests!
