Penguin Patch Gift Shop
Edmondson PTA and Staff are excited to be hosting the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop again this year. Our students will have so much fun secretly shopping for gifts for family and friends!
Our school will be hosting the holiday shop on Tuesday 12/17, Wednesday 12/18, and Thursday 12/19. Each child will have the opportunity to shop independently for gifts for anyone that they choose during specific times that the classroom teacher will sign up for. These schedules will be communicated before shopping week via DOJO/Class SMORE so be on the lookout. The gift shop will also be open Wednesday and Thursday after school from 3:10-3:45 for families to come and shop together if you would like.
Gifts are between .25 all the way up to $20.00 to accommodate as many students as possible. There will also be gifts in the spirit buck cart which is an area that students can use their spirit bucks to purchase items (spirit bucks are rewarded for RRF behavior at school)
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Bree Roundy at the school or by email at bree.roundy@tsd.org. THIS IS COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY AND STUDENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO SHOP!

Free and Reduced Information
For the 2024/25 school year, the Thompson School District will provide access to no-cost meals for all students through the Healthy School Meals for All program.
Research shows students perform better at school when they are not hungry. By providing access to breakfast and lunch for all students at no cost, we better support their learning.
Although all students will receive access to no-cost meals, it's still important for households to provide their income information when requested. Gathering this information allows the Thompson School District to receive the state and federal funding we qualify for. These funds go directly to schools to help cover the cost of meals and support after-school activities and other nutritional programs for students. Plus, qualifying households may be eligible for Summer EBT benefits, receive discounted or waived school fees, class materials, utilities support, and more.
Providing household income information ensures you and your school receive all available financial support.
The attachments contain more information and forms to provide your household income information. While the following pages may reference eligibility for free or reduced-price school meals, access to breakfast and lunch will be provided free to all students regardless of household income.
Our school meals follow U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for healthy school meals. You can be confident your children are getting quality school meals while saving your family time and money.
