This week we will be having a Weather Drill with our students. This is a Shelter-in-Place action that occurs during a weather event, natural disaster, or other situation when it is not safe to go outside the building. The specific shelter location within the building is determined by the event.

Our second trimester conferences will take place on Thursday, April 11th and Friday, April 12th for 1st-6th grades. Kindergarten parent teacher conferences will take place on April 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. Spring conference sign-ups will "go live" on Friday, March 15th at 3:30PM through specific teacher Sign-Up Genius links.

If you are having any difficulty selecting a conference time, please contact your child(ren)'s teacher to make other arrangements.

If you would like to pick up your son/daughter early for an appointment, please pick up your child before 2:45PM. After 2:45PM, your child will be asked to wait with the other walkers, bus and car riders in his/her classroom, to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for everyone.

To volunteer at a class party or chaperone a field trip, your clearances must be up-to-date.

If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions. For more information, consult the Human Resources Volunteer Required Paperwork webpage.

Families can access the online application for Free & Reduced Meals by clicking here. The application must be submitted each year AND for each child. If your child received free or reduced lunch last year, you must re-apply for the 23-24 school year.

The Family Fun Color Run which will be held on April 19th at 6pm is a FUNDRAISER event for the whole family to participate in. It is a walk/run around school property where five stations of color are set up and will be sprayed/tossed onto each participant as they pass by. T-shirts and Medals are available for all runners/walkers who register by 3/14. In addition to the run there will be music, outdoor games, color, and LOTS OF FUN!

Raffle Baskets: There will be raffle baskets and tickets will be $1 a piece! All donations for the baskets will be coordinated through Homeroom parents so look for an email coming soon from them! We thank you in advance for all of your donations as these baskets are always a big hit with kids and parents! The themes this year are as follows:

Home and School is looking for TWO people to be part of the nomination committee. The committee will take all nominations for the Executive Board positions and communicate via email with all candidates. Please email GHSAinquiries@gmail.com if you would be interested in being part of this committee. The committee will stay in place through the May 21st General Meeting.

It’s hard to believe, but the end of the year and our 6th graders time at Gayman is upon us.

• If your child is not attending Tohickon, but will be attending another Central Bucks Middle School, please indicate the school name at the bottom of the form.
