All in Aledo: Bringing Energy to Every Game
We know our Bearcat Community is #AllinAledo on Friday nights, but this year we're taking a closer look at all that goes into the Friday Night Magic in and around Tim Buchanan Stadium and even on the road during football season.
The Aledo High School Bearcat Regiment serves as the dynamic soundtrack to Friday Night Lights. From the moment they march into the stadium, they infuse the game with heightened energy. During pivotal moments, they keep the crowd engaged, energized and ready to cheer the Bearcats to victory. These hardworking students are "All In," supporting not only the Bearcat Football Team but also the Bearcats Dance Team, Cheerleaders, Spirit of Aledo and more each week.
This year's show, "On the Throttle," is one of the most physically demanding performances the Bearcat Regiment has ever undertaken, showcasing the immense dedication and effort behind every show. Preparation for marching season begins in the spring, with the band rehearsing the music for their upcoming show. By summer, they shift their focus to marching and learning the show, with practices continuing until early November, culminating in the UIL State Marching Band competition.. with some Friday night football sprinkled in each week!
The Bearcat Regiment is Full Throttle at BOA Mid Cities Regional Competition!
Last Saturday, the Bearcat Regiment competed at the Bands of America Dallas Mid Cities Regional competition. The day began at 12:30 p.m. with prelims. The band earned 2nd place in Class AAA and moved onto finals. At finals, the Bearcat Regiment earned a Top 10 finish at the 2024 BOA Dallas Mid Cities Regional! Congratulations of the Bearcat Regiment!
