EHT Fine and Performing Arts

Our staff and students in Egg Harbor Township Schools are keeping busy creating, performing and responding to the Arts with an emphasis on Student Achievement, Community Engagement and #EHTPRIDE

Students in Mr. Costino’s 4th grade Art classes at Miller School spent time studying the traits, habits, and habitats of sloths and then did a step by step illustration lesson!

A Great and Symmetrical Day for the Arts in EHT!

Students in Mr. Baumgartel’s 7th grade art classes learned about the principles of symmetry and then had fun creating paintings using the transfer method and watercolors!

A Bandtastic Day for the Arts in EHT!

The Music in our Schools Month celebration continued with an awesome All District Band Festival!

Band students and directors from 5th through 12th grade and 4 schools, spent the day collaborating and working together towards their evening concert.

The All District Elementary Band, and All District Middle-High School Band put on two, mini-concerts for a packed house in the EHTHS theater.

Special thanks to our EHTHS Director, Mr. Matt Wyckoff for hosting and coordinating the event and congratulations to our elementary and middle school directors, Mr. Marc Spatz, Mrs. Dawn Donchey, Mr. Howard Isaacson, Mr. Garrett Davis and Ms. Jenna DiSalvio on an outstanding performance and collaborative event with your students.

Thanks also go to our awesome Transportation Department for getting all of our students in the same place at the same time so quickly, and also a shout out to our Facilities Department for making sure that we had everything we needed. Finally, thank you to EHTHS Band Alumni, and Auditorium Tech Coordinator, Mr. Jim House for all the technical support

A Great Day-Before-Spring-Break for the Arts in EHT!

All of our Physical Education classes at EHTHS got to enjoy a performance by the EHTHS Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Their show

“Game On”, based on MTV and classic video game themes from the 80’s and 90’s was enjoyed by our faculty and student body. We wish them luck as they head to preliminary finals next Saturday.
