Hello Houdini Families,
I am looking forward to another great school year. Consistent attendance is critical to student success and a focus for our school this year. We will kick off the year with an attendance incentive. Homerooms will earn points based on the percentage of students on time and in class each day for the first four weeks of school. On September 27th, the top two classes in Kindergarten through second grade and the top two classes in third through fifth grade will earn pizza parties. All classes who end up with a total of at least 1,700 (average of 90% classroom attendance) on the thermometer will earn an extra recess. Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to working with you this year.
Daily breakfast will be offered in the classroom free of charge for ALL students.
Hot lunch is available for $2.80, and milk can be purchased for $.40. Money can be added to your child's account through the Infinite Campus Portal or by sending a check or cash with your child in a sealed envelope labeled with their name and "Hot Lunch". If your family may qualify for free or reduced price meals, please complete the form online on the Infinite Campus Portal.
8:10 AM - Outdoor supervision begins *children may not be dropped off before this time*
8:22 AM - Building doors open for students *parents cannot enter the building with students*
8:27 AM - School day begins *if your student arrives after this time, please bring your child to the front doors*
3:20 PM - Final dismissal bell
Please reference the map below regarding the drop off and pick up locations for each grade level. Grades 3-5 enter and exit through Door H. Grades K-2 enter and exit through Door C.
