Thank you to all of the families who came out to our Spring Band Concert and Sixth-Grade Awards Night. Both events were great ways to celebrate the success of many of our students.

We had a fantastic week celebrating our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Our students wrote thank-you notes during the week to honor their teachers' hard work, dedication, and commitment.

We officially have 7 days of school remaining. As we move ahead, our focus remains on teaching and learning. Please know our staff is doing everything we can to help our Patriots finish strong.

We appreciate your partnership in having ongoing conversations with your student. Talk with him/her about setting goals and their plan to finish this school year and move on to the next grade level. Find ways to celebrate his/her success!

It’s great to hear that the students in Ms. Rani and Ms. Artime's class enjoyed their Zumba session! Mixing fitness with fun can really brighten up a day and help build positive associations with staying active. Ms. Ricci was Zumba instructor for the lesson. All students were engaged and rejuvenated.

The Custodial Recognition Ceremony was a wonderful showcase of the incredible work done by Ms. Yudith Hernandez and her amazing team. Their dedication to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff does not go unnoticed.

School Nurse Day, celebrated annually on May 8th, is a day dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions of school nurses to the health and well-being of students and staff. These dedicated professionals play a crucial role in promoting a healthy school environment, providing essential medical care, and educating the school community about wellness. From tending to minor scrapes and bruises to managing chronic conditions and promoting healthy habits, school nurses are compassionate caregivers who ensure that students can thrive academically and physically. On this day, let's express our gratitude and appreciation for the dedication and care that school nurses demonstrate every day!

The band concert last night was absolutely fantastic! The musicians showcased their talent and hard work beautifully, delivering captivating performances that truly impressed the audience. From lively marches to soul-stirring melodies, every piece was executed with precision and passion. It was a joy to witness such musical excellence and creativity on stage. Kudos to all the performers, conductors, and everyone involved in making the concert a memorable success!

Kudos to Ms. Brown, Ms. Mathis, the counseling team, and everyone who supported 6th-grade Awards night. Our students were recognized for their hard work, perseverance, and outstanding achievements.

The Teachers As Leaders Graduation was a heartfelt celebration honoring the dedication and leadership of Ms. Barochin and Ms. Paul. Ms. Runcie-Williams was also recognized for her outstanding work as a Study Group Leader. These exceptional educators have not only imparted knowledge but have also inspired and empowered their students and colleagues alike. Their passion for teaching, innovative approaches, and commitment to student success have left a lasting impact on their school community. As we celebrated their achievements, we also celebrated the positive influence they have had on shaping young minds and fostering a culture of learning and growth. Cheers to these outstanding educators!"
