A week of being GRATEFUL
Good evening, CHPS-
Late November is a time where many of us focus on feeling GRATEFUL, and I find myself laser focused on all there is to be GRATEFUL for within our district.
We have an outstanding community of children and their families, filled with rich diversity, and for that, I am GRATEFUL. We have a faculty and staff who remain so dedicated and resolved to educate each and every child in our district to their fullest potential, and for each of them, I am GRATEFUL. We have building administrators who are motivated to make the experience in each of their buildings a positive, welcoming and engaging one, and I am GRATEFUL for each of them.
When I reflect on all that there is to be GRATEFUL for in this district, I feel more motivated than ever to fulfill our mission. Our focus and commitment to fostering an outstanding educational experience for all our students is steadfast. Our mission is grounded in creating an environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued, with a strong sense of belonging in engaging, academically rich environments. We will accomplish this mission! And for that...I am GRATEFUL!
I hope the coming week brings a few moments of reflection for each of you about what it is that you might be GRATEFUL for within Cherry Hill Public Schools.

Toys for Tots Collections at 3 Middle Schools
The Marine Corps League 1775 Detachment and all three CHPS Middle Schools will be collecting gifts for Toys for Tots! The collection runs Monday November 25th until Friday December 13th.
We are collecting new, unwrapped toys for distribution to children in need here in Cherry Hill and throughout the South Jersey area. The Toys for Kids program provides those kids in need with gifts this holiday season.
If you are able to donate a new unwrapped toy, please drop it into the Toys for Kids collection box located outside the main office.
This holiday season, we hope you will share the “Joy of a Toy” with a child in need through the Marine Corps League 1775 Detachment and the Cherry Hill School districts Annual Holiday Toy Drive!
Zone PTA Gift Card Drive Info!
THE ORANGE BUCKETS ARE BACK!
Annually, Cherry Hill Zone PTA asks each PTA and their school community to help support families in need from our schools. We are asking for gift cards in denominations of $10 or $15 to Shoprite, Target or Walmart.
(We will also accept cash donations, which we will use to buy gift cards and then deliver those gift cards directly to the families identified by our school counselors and nurses as having the greatest need.)
Last year more than 150 students and their families benefited from these donations!
You can drop your donations in the orange Home Depot bucket labeled Zone PTA Gift Card Drive inside any school’s main office.
Please send donations by 11/27/24.
