Hillside News Brief

Just a reminder that Hillside's Spirit Day is Friday, November 22. Please show school spirit by wearing blue and/or orange or your Hillside spirit wear!

Thanksgiving Break will be from Wednesday, November 27 through Sunday, December 1. School resumes on Monday, December 2. We hope you will have a restful Thanksgiving holiday.

Just a few reminders about dismissal:

• If you have dismissal plan changes, please contact the office (402)390-6450
• If you are using the carpool lane, please look for your student on his/her pawprint at the front entrance (please pull up as far as you are able)
• Students who walk home, should begin walking right after dismissal; the playground during the dismissal period (fifteen minutes after the end of the day) will remain as clear as possible so that staff can determine which students are waiting for a ride
• A student who rides the bus should go directly to his/her assigned location and remain with assigned staff
• Students who are on the playground are required to have a parent present and actively supervising their child. Staff may inquire regarding supervision, and students without a parent present will be asked to return to the carpool area.
