What an incredible week we’ve had—Snowcoming was a huge success! Seeing our students, staff, and families come together to celebrate with energy, school spirit, and a true sense of community was amazing. These are the moments that make Bellevue such a special place!

As we enter February, we look forward to another month filled with learning, growth, and exciting opportunities. From winter sports to classroom achievements and community events, there’s much to be proud of and even more to look forward to. Let’s keep this momentum going and continue making a difference for our students!

We are thrilled to announce that Bellevue Community Schools has been awarded a colossal grant through the Section 33 K-5 Visual Arts and Music! Congratulations to Melissa Baxter for her dedication and effort in securing this funding to enhance arts and music education for our students. This grant will provide incredible opportunities for creativity, expression, and learning in our classrooms. Thank you for your commitment to enriching our student’s education through the arts!

Jr/Sr:

• The R.I.S.E. Reading class just completed the first ever Reading Tiered Fidelity Inventory assessment to determine next steps and goals to continue to grow as a program and positively impact student success.
• We have 3 classes who have won the Golden Horseshoes for attendance: Mr. Brininstool, Mrs. Garvinson, and Mrs. Collins! Encourage your students to come to school on time, so we can continue to celebrate.

Elementary:

• CONGRATULATIONS to MRS. BAXTER for being awarded the Section 33 K-5 Visual Arts and Music Grant! This was a huge accomplishment, and we look forward to sharing how the grant is being used in K-5 music.

• We’re excited to announce that two more students have joined the prestigious THINK 30 Club! Congratulations to E. McLouth and E. Madry for their hard work and dedication in reaching this incredible milestone!

• March is Reading Month is just around the corner, and we’re kicking off the celebration with a special author visit! Literacy Night is 2/26 from 4-7pm. Please join us!

• The 5th grade camp parent meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, February 12th. We look forward to seeing you then to discuss important information for the upcoming school year!

• Mark your calendars for the Family Dance on February 22nd! We can’t wait to see you there for a fun-filled evening! More details to come!
