HHS Weekly Preview

• The 3rd Quarter ended today. We only have one quarter left! We will finish strong!

• Job Fair on 4/1/25 for all Grades and College Road Trip 4/1/25 for Juniors-check them out below.

• Trades Job and Career Fair will be on April 29th. Look for details coming soon!

• Freshmen and Sophomores enter through the music wing.

• Dance 6-8. Students cannot leave before 7:30.

• It should be a wonderful evening of dancing and fun!

1) Check out graduation Information below.

• All Class of 2025 members have received their graduation information email/letter this past Tuesday. Remember it is 7 outdoor tickets and 2 indoor tickets per graduate. Please start figuring out who gets those tickets. We do not have any extra tickets at HHS.

3) Senior Dues are at an all time low of $50. Senior dues will now be due May 16th.

Job Fair SignUp

Looking for a summer job? Next Tuesday April 1st will be our Spring Job Fair in the Gym. Sign up today! There will be over 30 employers here looking to hire you! All grades will have an opportunity to attend. You must fill out the registration form below to attend. If you are going on the college road trip you will still be able to go to the job fair. 📍 Location: Haverford High School Gym

8:00 to 8:15 - Juniors will report to the Auditorium for a short assembly on the Job Fair and College Road Trip.

8:15 - Juniors will proceed to the Gym to meet with employers before leaving for the Road Trip.

9:05 - Sophomores will report to the Auditorium for a short assembly on guidance for the job fair.

9:15 - Sophomores will proceed to the Gym to meet with employers

9:35 - Freshman will report to the Auditorium for a short assembly on guidance for the job fair.

10:05 - Seniors will go directly to the Gym to meet employers

Class of 2026 College Road Trip

• Date of trip: Tuesday, April 1, 2025

• RETURN PERMISSION SLIP FOR THE TRIP - (return form to Homeroom teacher; must return by the morning of trip at the latest)

• Bring $10 for lunch on campus - HHS can assist, if needed - Please see Mr. Donaghy or Mr. Berardoni (11th grade principal) in person or email.

• NEED TO PREPARE FOR ALL TYPES OF WEATHER

• MUST WEAR COMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR (sneakers are suggested)

AP Testing

AP Exam Registration 2024-2025. Please return the AP Exam Registration Form with your payment. Paper copies of forms are available in the guidance office. The cost for each exam is $99.

If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, the first exam is $20, and any additional exams are $53 each. Once the exams are ordered, the College Board charges a $40 cancellation fee per exam. If paying by check, please make the check payable to Haverford High School.

1) BLAST Social-See Below

2) We need your support to keep our kids safe on Prom night! We are in desperate need of additional volunteers for all areas of the HHS BLAST (Decorations, Set-up, Clean-up). However, most pressing, we need chaperones, Blackjack/Poker dealers and casino game staff. This is a very popular part of the BLAST, and we need your help to keep it going. If you can help with any of these functions, please contact Anthony DeVice (610-209-2543, Ant0219@comcast.net). Can’t help with the BLAST? That’s okay, there are other ways to contribute.

What do we need? First, we need your support! The HHS BLAST Committee is hosting a “Parent Social” at the Yard Pub in Havertown on Saturday, April 5th. All proceeds will go to support the BLAST. There will be food and open bar from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM, great raffles and 50/50. Tickets are $35 ($40 at the door). This is a great opportunity to have a night out with friends while also supporting this amazing event! For tickets, please Venmo the Haverford PTSA (@PTSA-HHS) and include your name, number of tickets and “BLAST Social”. See the attached flyer for additional information.

What is the BLAST.? The BLAST was initiated to provide security and peace of mind for graduates, parents, neighbors, and community members by providing our students with an opportunity to celebrate their milestone in a fun, safe, alcohol and drug-free environment. Check out the HHS BLAST Video to hear about the BLAST and its impact on our students.
