We are blessed to have our Sr. Pastor, Dr. Ron & 1st Lady Faye Godbolt and our Bishop,

Dr. John L. Godbolt and Elect Lady Vertell Godbolt, leading us through the Christian journey!

The act of showing of politeness in one's attitude and behavior toward others.

Our Bishop, Dr. John Godbolt, taught a powerful lesson entitled, "The Power in a Mother's Words." His subtopic was a lesson on the blessing of having God's Word present in one's daily life.

His scripture references were: John 1:1-5 and Psalm 119:105.

His two objectives were:

1. Define and briefly discuss the power of words.

2. Share four examples of how The Word speaks.

Because the Spirit of God was so strong, Bishop Godbolt had to put a "Selah" after discussing the first point. Listed below are all four points, along with the scriptures, that you can study during the week.

1. Joseph's Bone - The "Spoken" Word (Destiny) - Exodus 13:19

2. Jeremiah's Bone - The "Fiery" Word - Jeremiah 20:9

3. Elisha's Bones - The "Lively" Word - II Kings 13:21

4. Jesus - "Bone" Word - John 19:36 and Jesus - Bone Marrow - I Peter 2:2-3

In honor of Teacher Appreciation week, we could not let the month go by without acknowledging our volunteer teachers that work unselfishly every week with our children. We couldn't do what we do without you! Jocelyn McAllister, Joy Mitchell, Annessa Best, Tina Land, Elisa Mc Gowan, Afiwa (JoJo) Alokpa, Jasmen Willard, Aliciah Small, Crystal Godbolt, Michelle White, Chiquita McIntosh, Kari Simmons, Frankie Graham, Lauren Mitchell, Elenah Kelly, Sonny Kelly, Terrence McAllister Jr., and Keyondre Currence, thanks for all you do for One Church. Also, special thanks to all of our fantastic school system teachers.

All the ladies are asked to wear white and join us in this powerful fellowship. Also, we are asking that all ladies pay a $50 assessment towards our Women's Ministry Fund.

The AsOne Prayer Walk is Saturday, May 18th from 9am-11am. All members are encouraged to attend, march, and pray. All participants are meeting at the Festival Park, downtown Fayetteville between 8am-9am. The prayer walk starts at 9am. You can still purchase a T-shirt at: asoneprayerwalk.org. Come out and get involved!
