The WordPress Training course will prepare you to be a webmaster on the new Battle Ground Public Schools website. You will learn to post and edit content and images using the new system.

Course topics will include:

  • Navigating the WordPress Dashboard
  • Updating the Navigation
  • Posts vs. Pages
  • Categories vs. Tags
  • Creating Pages
  • Editing Content
  • Editing and Adding Images
  • Adding Videos

Two sessions are available, so chose the session that fits your schedule!

Both sessions will be held on Friday, August 24th in the Staff Development Room, downstairs at CASEE A District Office.

The AM session is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The PM session is from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.


Please bring your laptop, if you have one!

Q: Will I receive clock hours for this course?

A: Yes! There will be 3.0 total clock hours available for attending all sessions of the training.


Q: Who is this class for?

A: This class is for Administrators, Certificated staff, and Classified staff who have access to edit their school web pages.


Q: How do I sign up?

A: Please use the link below to connect to the new ProDev system. You will sign into your ProDev account and use the "Course Registration" tab to search for course ID # 2345 "WordPress Training" for the AM Session OR course ID # 2346 "WordPress Training" for the PM Session. Make sure you only register for one session...they are exactly the same course, so no need to attend both sessions! When you have selected the course, just click "Register"!
