A Note from Mrs. Larson
Dunham Dragons,
I hope this message finds you well. As we embark on another school year, I want to take a moment to emphasize the critical importance of consistent school attendance and its direct correlation to academic success.
Being present in the classroom is one of the most important factors in a student’s educational journey. Studies consistently show that students who attend school regularly are more likely to achieve higher grades, develop essential social skills, and stay on track for graduation. Every day that a student is in school is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build the foundation for future success.
At Dunham School District, we are committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. However, we need your partnership to ensure that every student attends school consistently. Missing even a few days can add up quickly, making it harder for students to catch up on missed work and fully engage in their learning.
We understand that there are times when absences are unavoidable due to illness or family emergencies. When those situations arise, please make every effort to minimize time away from school and communicate with your child’s teacher to stay on top of missed assignments.
Together, we can help our students achieve their fullest potential by making school attendance a top priority. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to your child’s education.
In Partnership,
Mrs. Larson
