GOLDEN GUIDE APPLICATION
This will be the first year of our GOLDEN GUIDE LEADERS MENTOR PROGRAM. We are looking for about 130 soon-to-be juniors and seniors to connect with our incoming 9th graders.
The guides will welcome the Class of 2029 during orientation and check in with their small group of about 10 students throughout the year providing advise, getting to know them, and inspiring them.
This is an amazing opportunity to take on a leadership role while also helping the newest Bears get the most out of their time here at TV.
If you're interested, this application should be completed this Friday (May 9). Interviews will be held the following week.

AAPI MONTH
During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we recognize the many cultures that are a part of Asia. This week, we reconize the rich culture of Taiwan and the achievements they have made to our society.
Taiwan is located in East Asia, roughly 100 miles southeast of China. Taiwan is known for many things such as it’s vibrant food scene, especially in the night markets. Things like boba tea and oyster omelettes came from Taiwan and have made a huge impact on American society today. Taiwan also boasts some notable figures such as Jensen Huang, the co-founder of Nvidia, Steve Chan, the co-founder of Youtube, Jerry Yang, the co-founder of Yahoo, and many more.
Overall, Taiwan stands as a testament to resilience and creativity. Through the many impacts that have been made to global society and the many more to come, Taiwan is a culture that we should all take time to educate and indulge in.
