Personal Update
Dear Stratton Families,
I want to share some news with you directly, as it will become public shortly. I have been named one of three finalists for the superintendent position in Provincetown. My decision to apply for this position was not made lightly, and I want to be clear that I am not applying for any other positions—I love Stratton and this incredible community.
As many of you know, my life changed dramatically when my partner passed away just two months after I started at Stratton. That loss reshaped many aspects of my life and, over time, has led me to reflect on where I see myself in the future. Provincetown has long been a place of personal significance for me, and my hope is to eventually retire there. When this opportunity arose, and members of the Provincetown community reached out to me, I felt it was something I needed to explore.
I want to assure you that this process does not change my deep commitment to Stratton, our students, and our families. I am incredibly proud of the work we are doing together, and regardless of the outcome, I remain fully invested in this school and our shared mission.
I will keep you updated as this process unfolds. In the meantime, I hope you and your families have a wonderful and restful break!
With gratitude,
Amy
